Here is where all the Week 10 lineup stuff goes, and as a little treat, here are:
the JSN CFFL 2022 Power Rankings as we head into Week 10:
- Camp Crystal Lake Killers, 7-2, riding a league high 4 game win streak, the Killers have overtaken the once red hot Montreal team for 1st a couple of weeks ago and shows no signs of letting off the gas anytime soon. They hope to keep things rolling as they host the also red hot Flin Flon team.
- Carnduff Carnies, 7-2, the other new owner to the league this year is turning heads as they now gain a slim lead for 1st over Southey, when asked what the team can attribute all their recent success to, owner David Kirby simply said, "As long as everyone knows that I'm smarter and better looking than my goofy brother Mike, then everything else just falls into place! Clearly everyone knows!". Coincidentally, the two Kirby brothers square off against each other this upcoming week!
- Dawson City Salary Caps 2.0, 5-4, despite losing this past week, the Salary Caps are still one of the hottest teams in the league right now and are looking to regain that momentum this upcoming week against the other juggernaut in the East Division, Waskesui Warriors
- Waskesui Warriors, 5-4, despite an uncharacteristic slow start to the season, Warriors' owner Garts has gotten things running smoothly. Also off a loss this past week, they are in for a good matchup this week against division rivals Dawson City in the Week 10 game of the week
- Southey Slammers, 5-4, despite losing by the biggest margin of victory so far in the 2022 season, the Slammers are right in the thick of things and are poised to retake 1st place in the division by trying to snag a visitor win in Drumheller this week.
- Montreal Voyagers, 7-2, starting out the season as the hottest team, things have cooled down for the Montreal team. However, their record is still stellar and they are keeping within striking distance of Camp Crystal Lake and can still regain 1st should the Killers falter. Despite the difference in records, the Voyagers will have a tough time on the road in Carrot River this week against his future Wife!
- Flin Flon Aerial Assault, 4-5, while the record is not excellent, this team is getting hot at just the right time. Riding a 3 game winning streak which includes 2 visitor wins, they have a tall order ahead of them as they sit around the fire and talk strategy in Camp Crystal Lake this week!
- St. Joseph Altar Boys, 4-5, fresh off a win last week, Mike's Altar Boys are heading into Carnduff to keep the wins coming against his brother in the game of the week. When asked how he felt about playing against his brother for the 1st and only time this week, Mike Kirby replied, "Wait? My brother is in this league?"
- Oromocto 4-Horsemen, 4-5, another one of the bubble teams trying to keep pace to make the playoffs, JPL simply said that he felt "Extremely Confident" as he hosts long time rival Kinookimaw Kingpins for their 2nd meeting this year. In their last meeting Oromocto snagged the visitor win as they thumped the hapless Kingpins 156-74. 4-Horsemen owner JPL is expecting more of the same and thus will keep their playoff hopes alive.
- Carrot River Bugs Bunnies, 3-6, after a huge win against Southey this week, the Bunnies have certainly put out notice that Bunny Hunting Season is indeed over. It may be too little too late to keep pace and make the playoffs, but beyond that, a win against division rival (and future Husband) Montreal is of a top priority this week!
- Drumheller Daredevils, 2-7, it looked like the Daredevils were going to make a good run as their Father in Flin Flon has, but with a sputtering offence, that just doesn't look likely anymore. Owner of the Daredevils Brendan (Sabu), has been one of the first owners to play future stars as he was the first one to play D. Schoen as well as others. His team will not roll over for anyone and are looking to go out this season with a bang.
- Kinookimaw Kingpins, 2-7, no visitor wins, the lowest points for, the highest points against, the Commissioner's team has been horrible this year! When asked how he felt about his team's poor showing this season the extremely handsome Commissioner replied, "I am just happy that we're back to playing! I have always enjoyed this league and it makes me feel good to keep John's league running successfully! I have missed this league the past couple of years. The Kingpins horrible record is really meaningless to me right now, it is just great to see this league thriving and the success of the new owners!".
I hope you guys enjoyed this! Good luck to all this week, looks like an awesome week!
