Here is where you can find all the final week of regular season goodness!
One important note before I start, there are 4 games in the CFL this week, not 3 as was originally posted on the schedule (thanks Brian!).
While the playoff picture has started to get more into focus, there is still a LOT that will be determined with this final week of play! 4 out of 6 games this week have playoff and/or Divisional Title implications!
EAST DIVISION:
The Dawson City Salary Caps 2.0 and Waskesui Warriors are still battling for the 1st place spot in the division. Waskesui needs to win this week against Oromocto and have Kinookimaw steal a visiting win against Dawson City in order to take over sole possession of 1st place on the last week of the season!
However, if Oromocto wins this week and Waskesui loses, then Oromocto has a mathematical chance of still making the playoffs as a wild card team, but this is based on how the other teams do in their matchups this week.
CENTRAL DIVISION:
The Central Division title is still up for grabs as Carnduff & Southey split their Head to Head matchups. If Drumheller can play spoiler and defeat Carnduff this week and Southey gets a win this week, they would be tied for the top spot and it would come down to math. It would be unfortunate if their tie-breaker were decided on an error in the schedule, so we will see what happens.
WEST DIVISION:
The West Division Championship has been claimed by Camp Crystal Lake Killers based solely on points. They can still lose the head to head matchup against Montreal this week, but by virtue of all their visiting wins this year they would still finish 1 point higher in the standings than Montreal, so they have clinched. But again, depending on how Montreal does, impacts Oromocto, Waskesui, Southey & Carnduff as far as wild card spots, so still lots on the line.
So as you can see, still lots on the line and a lot to sort out in the final week of the season! Good luck to everyone!
