As all 4 games for the weekend were played last night, here are your final scores for the 2nd week of pre-season:
FF KK Als QB 2 8 Calgary QB Edmonton RB 5 6 Ti-Cats RB Riders WR 5 9 Edmonton WR Ti-Cats K 3 6 Riders K Riders ST/D 2 12 Als ST/D Als HC 13 18 Calgary HC Total 30 59 Total
CC CLK BC QB 8 1 Ottawa QB Als RB 6 6 Ti-Cats RB BC WR 11 5 Riders WR Calgary K 13 15 Ottawa K Calgary ST/D 13 12 Als ST/D Als HC 13 -8 Argos HC Total 64 31 Total
Once again the stats were difficult to do as there were so many different players, but this is the last time you will be able to use team players. Throughout the regular season you will need to select individual players and keep the Canadian Player rule in play. (I will explain that more in another message).
Also, the HC scoring change was a factor in one of the games as it created a 21 point swing. It DOES make things interesting for sure, but maybe 50% of the score is a bit much. We will play out the season as we agreed to and then will take a look at things at the next AOM.
Pre-Season Final Standings:
1 - Carnduff Carnies, 2 - 0, 113 PF, 66 PA, 5 TP (1 Home win = 2pts, 1 visitor win = 3pts) 2 - Kinookimaw Kingpins, 2 - 0, 112 PF, 71 PA, 5 TP (1 Home win = 2pts, 1 visitor win = 3pts) 3 - Flin Flon Aerial Assault, 0 - 2, 71 PF, 112 PA, 0 TP 4 - Crystal Lake Killers, 0 - 2, 66 PF, 113 PA, 0 TP
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me directly or leave a message here.
Thanks for all your input during the pre-season, it was good to get my score-keeping legs under me.
Should be a great season! Good luck everyone!

I think Darcy made an error your Toronto Head Coach should be +9

Brian is 100% right Clay, I made an error and read the score wrong. Instead of -8, it should be +9 as Brian said. Your final score is 48, not 31.
Making an error in scoring this early in the season means:
1 - It would be good for you guys to always double check my math, a very simple error was a 17 point swing!
2 - Hopefully it means that I got my error out of the way for the season and the rest should run very smoothly.
3 - I will do my best to stay focused when I am doing my scoring going forward. I am bad for multi-tasking when doing the scores sometimes, I will be more diligent going forward.
One thing I should note about scoring errors is that it is up to you (Susan usually catches most of my errors tbh), to point out or question any scoring. If you do not question the scoring before the next week's games have started, then the previous week's scoring is official and will not be changed.
Sorry about that Clay, good job catching it. Hopefully that's the last time this season!
Great logo Brian!
